Tony Quinn has had assignments in around fifty countries and territories shooting mainly sports but also politics and civil strife in South and Central America as staff photographer for El Diario Latino in Washington D.C.. Won the best photographer award of the National Association of Hispanic Newspapers in 1994. Helped Garry Steckles start the first English language Caribbean newspaper, Caribbean Week in Barbados. started off with the Connection chain of community newspapers in Northern Virginia. In charge of sports photography for a major university, team photographer for two pro sports teams, four soccer World Cups, three Olympic Games and managed to find an Irish pub in most of those countries and territories.
